When are we going to stop blaming bush?

Big Black Dog
Yak. Yak. Yak. Obama has spent more money since he's been in office than Bush ever did. We owe 16 trillion dollars now, in great part to Obama. He said he would cut the deficit in half in his first 4 years. What a crock of shit that turned out to be. Time to get off the Blame Bush Train and look at Obama realistically. He's bankrupting this country.

Proof please.

When are we going to stop blaming bush?

When we can finally clean up his enormous mess. He was like Midas, only everything turned to shit.

You're going to beat the dead blame bush horse to dust and then kill another horse to beat it.

The past is our foundation. Bush and the Republicans built a foundation of shit. It is what it is.

Foundation? How about 60+ years of democratic control of congress in part or whole. Hows that for a foundation?

No clinton surplus and who controlled congress the last two years of Bush presidency?

When are we going to stop blaming the Japanese for Pearl Harbor?

I don`t know about anyone else, but I don`t blame the Japanese about Pearl Harbor.

They redeemed themselves with building cars, the quality of which unionized free-loaders at GM and Chrysler could never achieve.

Japanese build cars not only without unions, but also without taxpayer bailout.

We will be living in the Bush era for years to come. If only the effect of his presidency ended when he left. In many instances we are still living in the Lincoln era, the Washington era, the FDR era. Some Presidents leave little, some much, some good, some bad. For almost four years we have been trying to get rid of the Bush bad but with a Republican House of Reps chanting no, no, no it is difficult. The
Republican no, no's is the Republican strategy to return and finish the Bush job.

Probably after Obama retires at the end of his second term or if he is defeated this November.

Then we will blame Obama for everything until whoever replaces him is out of office then we will blame that guy.

Just as we blamed Clinton during the reign of Bush 43, Regan and Bush 41 during the Clinton era, etc

It's terrible that their was no one to tell Hitler NO when he first began with his destruction.

When are we going to stop blaming the Japanese for Pearl Harbor?

Like I blame the democrats for dropping the first weapon of mass destruction of civilians

Yes you can

We call it history. You make your decisions and are judged by history. Truman will be forever judged on his decision to drop the bomb......Bush will be judged on his decision to invade Iraq and engage in torture

When someone says it was Bush's fault, what they're really saying is that Obama doesn't have the means or intellect to fix it.

obama will be judged for assassinating U.S. citizens and depriving them of due process.

The use of drones to attack targets in hostile territory will be decided by history also. I suspect Obama will be treated more kindly by history than Bush with his Iraq invasion blunder and open acceptance of torture

You don't know how government works I'd bet or you'd realize Bush raised spending by a little bit compared to Obama tripling it and losing 35% of our worth since Obama took office. And Obama has tripled spending has no economic policy no foreign policy, and blaming Bush well you should blame Pelosi and Reid for two years bout that's nothing compared to what's going DOWN now

Afghanistan War by the Numbers: Lives Lost, Billions Spent

The war in Afghanistan has cost the United States $443 billion from 2001 through 2011, according to the Congressional Research Office.
According to a Pew Trusts report, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have contributed more to growth in U.S. debt than any other policy since 2001 except the Bush tax cuts and in the increased interest from legislative changes.

Federal debt
There is no question that the Iraq war added substantially to the federal debt. This was the first time in American history that the government cut taxes as it went to war. The result: a war completely funded by borrowing. U.S. debt soared from $6.4 trillion in March 2003 to $10 trillion in 2008 (before the financial crisis); at least a quarter of that increase is directly attributable to the war. And that doesn't include future health care and disability payments for veterans, which will add another half-trillion dollars to the debt.
As a result of two costly wars funded by debt, our fiscal house was in dismal shape even before the financial crisis -- and those fiscal woes compounded the downturn.

Bush-Era Tax Cuts Will Cost U.S. Nearly $1 Trillion Over Next Decade
Keeping tax cuts for the wealthy could cost the U.S. big time.
Letting the Bush-era tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 expire on schedule at the end of 2012 would bring the government nearly $1 trillion in revenue over the next 10 years, according to a new report from the Congressional Budget Office. That’s $823 billion in added revenue and $127 billion in interest to be exact, for a total $950 billion in ten-year deficit reduction.

When hell freezes over and more. Obama is still paying off Bush’s debt and continue into the next decade. Bush's debt did not stop growing when he left office. Most of the $5 trillion added to the debt belong to Bush.
When do we stop blaming the fox for raiding the hen house?
