To be fair, I cannot tell from any articles about him if Dooley was arrested on scene. In order for this to be a fair comparison, Dooley would be a free man or at least for a while before the uproar got too loud.

Supposedly (and I'm on the fense with the Martin case), the lynch mob in Sanford wants Zimmerman arrested and he still is not. That's the difference here, in fact the only difference that I can see.

There is another difference. Was there a pursuit by the gunman? That makes the recent case one where "standing one's ground" doesn't seem to apply.

And, sheriff AND the county state attorney have withdrawn from the Martin case. Meanwhile, faux news is jumping up and down, blaming the black kid for such terrible crimes as wearing a hoodie in the cold rain.

Unless the feds step in and treat it as the hate crime it was, it looks like Zimmerman could get away with murder.

I can see that Dooley was threatened. David should have stayed out of it and he may have well been seen as a threat by Dooley. This is what happen when we have bad laws. Stand your ground is an excuse to kill.

Recently there was a film released on bullying called "Bully", but because the word "fuck" is used in the documentary,it gets rated "R". This is an educational film covering the national epidemic of bullying.

Yet "Hunger Games" gets a PG-13 rating and it full of violence.
