The only reason we have to pay for it is because of Democrats and gutless RINO's. Cut these social programs by at least half, and I guarantee you nobody would starve.

These programs should only apply to those that have demonstrated they've done everything in their power to not be in their particular situation, and they have no choice but public assistance. There should be strict regulations such as the applicant cannot smoke cigarettes, have any pets, purchase alcohol, and have to submit to random drug tests.

As long as government keeps subsidizing people that don't want to try, of course there will be no positive results.

They also want an educated workforce that would benefit everybody of course through the improvement in the economy. They're not prepared to invest in this educated workforce by financing public education though because it would subtract a little wealth from the 1%. Wanting a benefit but being unwilling to help pay for it is the definition of greed. It's like those corporations wanting a highway system to facilitate their trade and wanting the middle class suckers to pay the whole bill for that system so corporate profits can increase obscenely and CEO salaries can increase exponentially.

The problem is every time a Democrats gets a money spending idea--just send a bill to the 1% But that's not greed at all.

People can send themselves to school. Taxpayers need not be part of that investment. Many schools offer financial aid, and government also provides loans as well. If taxpayers are to now be liable for investments, I want taxpayers to buy me some stock or some commodity contracts.

Unemployment is 4.7% and there are 5.8 million unfilled jobs. If every unemployed person could do one of those jobs, we will still be about two hundred thousand short. But they can't do those jobs. You have to have a skill.

I don't need a link. Show me where conservatives believe in stopping social programs for those that truly need them.

And I'm not talking about women who can't keep their legs closed and keep popping out children, nor the high school dropout that didn't want to study, but people who generally fell upon hard times through no fault of their own, such as people with mental or physical disabilities.
