What it's like being a father, parent...

My youngest is 24. She just left for her new job. This IS exactly what a father sees...

Time is static when you are a parent. So when you see one of our soldiers being buried, keep in mind that those parents aren't burying a soldier...they are burying their child.

it is the same being a mother.....my son is 28....we have had a hard year...where he has proven that he is a compassionate man willing to put his duty to his family above all else...he has made me proud...

and when a soldier dies.....i do think that is a child lost...
