What is it GOP leaders are doing that generates such strong support from their base?

No Republican mention supply and demand. Does that mean it isn't the foundation of capitalism?

Only Republicans talk about seceding (See Rick Perry for one).

Democrats know it's part of our duty to fund the federal government. Republicans hate government. They want it to fail. It's why every time they are in power, it fails. That's their plan. It's there "teaching moment".

So with the Democrats in power

9.2 unemployment is a gov't success

Good to know

From 10.1 it is. But where are Republican policies that would help jobs growth?

Once again, "oops".

Well it just went up to 9.2

Policy, what the US voter started by kicking out the Dems from the House
Next is the White House

nice dance Dean.....if GE say gives 50 million and 5 of that was from the employees....guess who the Democratic party is going to cater too?.....

Probably, but in the real world, corporations know they get more bang for the buck giving to Republicans. Think about why that is.

I hear you

The US Government? Or the employees?

Think about why a corporate CEO would give to Obama compared to why the employees would give to Obama. Would their motivations be the same? If the motivations are different, then it's probably the CEO giving to Republicans and the employees giving to Obama.

You can make the list

How do Black Conservatives do in the Democratic Party?
:eusa_whistle:

You forgot to mention the Lyndon Larouche "branch"
as well

Funny how that works...

There are a lot of black conservatives in the Democrats party. You missed the part in the previous post where I said:

for and against gay marriage
for and against abortion rights

Funny how that works. Oops.

Really I don't know

Can you name some?

Blue dogs for one.

Why don't you go look some up? Lazy.

We are on page 9 or 10 and still, no one can name a single thing. Come on, you name something besides "get dems out of office". Remember it wasn't the dems who started two wars and cut taxes - the true beginning of the current financial mess.

I know

The Republicans hardly in power for six months in one house of congress
stopped the "Papa Obama Job Machine" right before it was going to peak

Stop Papa Obama and the Lefts from the dangerous over spending they have been doing

How much more can the gov't crowd out the market

They are a "creature" of the Democrats

LaRouche ran for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States seven times, beginning in 1980.

OK, from 2001 to 2006. Republicans had both houses and the presidency for six straight years. What did they do that was so good?

And union members are what, about 10 or 12% of our entire work force? I'm guessing. I would be surprised if they were any more than that.

and Bush had a avg unemployment of 5.2 percent
your point

I bet that 5.2 would look really good now
Damn, historically you only need 7.2 or lower to increase the chances of getting Papa Obama elected

since Obama became president the government has lost 500,000 jobs. that's one half million. What are Democrats spending money on? We are talking in much less revenue because of the Bush tax cuts and all the jobs that moved to China from 2001 to 2008.

Come on now, give specifics.

They didn't wreck the economy. That's what they did that was so good.

Where is the Democrat budget? They held total control until January of this year so why was there no budget?

And yet, I hadn't even heard the name for at least 15 years. Big impact.
