Further, where is the outrage at the “parents” willing to risk the children’s lives and now knowing they will be caught, prosecuted, and incercerated?

DHS continues to place the kids with relatives/sponsors already in the country, many of whom are ALSO illegal. That's how it's always been done. BUT the problem is that with the ICE crackdown on illegals, those relatives/sponsors are not coming forward and the kids are not getting placed. The law says kids can only be held for 20 days, so there is going to be a huge foster home overload coming, I'm guessing. Not as if they weren't overloaded already.
