What does the "far left" want for America?

Well, I've been reading through the thread to see if any lefty has answered the OP question with anything valid, and still I see nothing. The same old tired platitudes, but platitudes aren't answers.

What I gather is, the left wants "change" to make things "better" and "help" people. And the mean old right just doesn't care about people, they want them to suffer and die, while clinging to the status quo. What the left wants isn't "Marxism" because... well, a lot of people want it, so it can't be. The left isn't opposed to free market capitalism, they just want it to be strictly regulated by central government... and that's not "socialism" because of Richard Nixon.

Now, let's step back a moment and approach this question objectively... what does the left want for America? Why can't we seem to get a straight answer? When you talk of "social justice" what does that mean? When do we know it has been achieved? When you speak of fairness, what would you consider achievement of that objective? Equality... how do we know when it has been obtained?

You see, what we have here are open-ended platitudes that are never reached because they can't be. Nothing is ever going to be enough, no matter how many trillions in debt we drive the nation, the left will still be hollering the same platitudes. How do we know? Because that's what the left does, that's what they've done for the past century in America. If the right plays along and tries to reasonably offer support on their efforts, it simply enables them more and generates more breathless platitudes and calls for further urgent changes they claim are needed

It would be one thing if these "changes" were actually showing results, but they're not. We have as many people in poverty today than we had 60 years ago. We passed Obamacare, but *gasp* people are still getting sick and dying without health care coverage! In fact, more people lost their health care plans than have been signed up for Obamacare. Back b40-50 years ago, the left was crying about the injustice of the cost of education... so the right, again capitulated and we passed a student loan program to "help" people. Now we have the same lefties crying that people can't pay their student loans.Did we see the problem fixed? Nope, we got a new problem. And that's often how the left's "plans to help" work, they create more problems that have to be fixed.

The only thing the lefties policies help are lefty politicians running for re-election.

The far left is anti democratic and wants change now, no matter the consequences; thus it is little different than the far right. Liberals and progressives seek change via the democratic process and peaceful protests (many times infected by vandals and other miscreants and anarchists).

RINO's, i.e., moderate Republicans and moderate conservatives defend the status quo, but our open to debate on new ways to solve problems, they are out-shouted by the New Right who, much like the far left, eschew compromise.

Neither the far left or right seeks open debate and a full vetting of all parts/elements of the change they seek.

Actually I had placed "far left" in quotes more out of sarcasm than anything else. Since the "right" these days considers anyone to the left of Putin to be a socialist. What counts for the "left" these days wants real pragmatic solutions. As I said before, "the reality based community" is what is now considered the "far left".
