What do you think about Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME)

Politics these days have gotten EXTREMELY partisan to the point that a lot of great legislation cannot be passed without the sponsoring party having some level of a majority. Moderates? Do we even know what a moderate is anymore?

Maine hasn't seen a Democrat in 20 years or so -- but is that necessarily a bad thing? Maine is clearly a "PURPLE" state and their Republican politicians come across as quite moderate. What do you think of politicians who do not tote the party line on every vote? Are these RINOs and DINOs?

Would you vote for someone of an opposing party if they voted your conscious on the major issues or are you just going to go with a straight ticket?

An example of such a politician: Susan Collins. She's progressive on a lot of issues but she's got that dangling 'R" next to her name...
