Where is Jones to assure us this is all legal and Constitutional and no attempt to deny millions their 2nd amendment rights? Or perhaps this time he will just go with, well gee it has no chance to pass so it doesn't count.

The notion is the product of a delusional mind, or a lie contrived by the partisan right for some perceived political gain.

If you had bothered to read the actual text of the bill, as opposed to the lies contained in the rightwing blog post you cited, you’d understand that the bill in no way ‘authorizes’ that firearms be ‘confiscated,’ and that the provisions of the bill with regard to those mentally ill recognize the comprehensive due process rights of citizens prior to any person indeed becoming prohibited from possessing firearms as a consequence of his mental illness.

This is just another sad example of the reprehensible right using lies to contrive a controversy where none in fact exists.

So I have the right to complain before they remove my firearms because I see a shrink, how nice of them. That is not the current law, the current law requires a judge find you incompetent this new one would just require that you be seeing a shrink, you know OUTPATIENT care.

How about all us sick people just stop taking our meds and stop seeing shrinks, how do you think that will work out, ehh? How many people will refuse to seek treatment because of this new law? How many will stop seeking treatment because of this new law?

Ohh and when they find you unable to own firearms how do you suppose they will ensure you get rid of your firearms?

You are a dumb ass. This law would drastically change who can and can not legally own firearms, making either millions lose the right or refuse treatment. Great plan there ehh?
