Man I am SO excited right now that we only have a few more days to go until we go into the scariest month of the year!!! :D

I can't pick what I love the best about Halloween since it's like Christmas in October for me. I love the candy, pumpkins, pumpkin rolls and most anything and everything scary.

This year is also a first for me since I got my first ever adult Halloween party to go to and when I got my Pennywise costume, opening it up was equivalent to Christmas morning. 😁 (Oh I love Halloween movies and music too.)

I don't watch these films every Halloween, but when I do watch them, I watch them on Halloween Day because they both take place during Halloween time: Ernest Scared Stupid and Double Double Toil and trouble.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

I love them both and I also love pretending to be what I'm not this time of year because every other time of the year I love being myself, but Christmas isn't the only time of the year I can be a kid again because Halloween is all about pretending and using your imagination. :D

This is also a really cool picture I took in the dark of a mask of mine. I think I'll use it for my Halloween profile pic once October comes. 😁

October r31st is my Birthday and I always looked forward to my sweet potato pie and a big mug of coffee. My mom always gave me that instead of birthday cake it was my favorite tradition. I never really liked to going door to door getting candy but I did to escort my 5 sisters. I prefer the church-sponsored fall parties.

My mind is having a rather difficult time comprehending this sentence. I'd still go if I wasn't in my early thirties. 🤣

I carve a couple of pumpkins into Jack O Lanterns roast the seeds... and I put the original Halloween movie on the TV... I get a bunch of kids every year so I buy a lot of candy...

RR-Were you like this guy or something?

Some of the above videos and the fact that I could tell we were not welcome in some areas we made our own costumes and I guess folks could tell we were from the ''other side of the tracks''. At fall parties at the church, you have a big bag of mixed candy just for showing up plus prizes from contests and hayrides were fun.

Oh and I get my pumpkins right out of the field down the road... they have a corn maze and Halloween decorations and they sell roasted corn... yum....

My favorite part of Halloween today is the insane level of house decoration that people do. It rivals Christmas decorations in my area (and often it's the same houses).

Halloween has evolved to become a celebration of the change of seasons, in addition to the original silliness, and I love it.

I can't believe so many of you are glorifying the devil. Oh yeah, you're liberals with no morals, so I'm not surprised.

---But recently, conservative Christian parents, in particular, have become vocal about their belief that Halloween is a dangerous holiday that glorifies the devil.---
