Flightradar24 shows the plane WKT10 in the Twitter thread belonging to DEA Aviation, based in the UK. They appear to be doing surveillance.

You do understand when they are in a holding pattern they don’t actually just fly around in a circle all the time. The fact that no other planes in those photos have their path spaghetti modeled is suspicious. If you wanted to try and show something nefarious was happening you would have shown the other planes flight paths and compared them.

Except not all flights would have to be in spaghetti paths. Not all flights have to hold. So, some could be spraying while others were not. It was the first flight path that looked so strange. They were not in a holding pattern. They went straight to an area and then straight back to the airport. Surveillance would be an answer for it. Odd that Merkle would be interested in what was in those barrels, though.
