Typical Wing-nut hypocrite, don't pigeonhole YOU, but you are free to pigeonhole anyone you want!Repeal all the unfair "free trade " agreements that have allowed cheap goods into this country made with slave labor and put the tariff laws back in place and of course, do away with the foreign owned Federal Reserve central banking system that has been sucking this country dry like a parasite since 1913.we need to get back to 70% of r&d funding coming from the government as we were in the 50's and 60s. We need to reform education and enforce the anti-trust laws.
Lastly, if you care so much about debt we need to end the wars, repeal the tax cuts and fix our healthcare system.
Yes, cutting ourselves off from the rest of the world make us number one for a long time to come. The rest of the world will be so hurt by our actions, lmao! What will happen is that the rest of the world will just pass us by. We are dealing with a world economy now. Those of you who don't want to acknowledge that will only try to doom us with your protectionist ideology.
So what you are saying is that the flood of cheap goods made by cheap/slave labor into this country with no tariff protection is a good thing? We do not need the "rest of the world" to sustain ourselves and we never have. The globalists have intentionally dismantled our manufacturing abilities in order to comply with draconian environmental laws that have given way to the loss of blue collar jobs that provided a living wage while the countries that don't have to comply are free to do "whatever". You are seriously clueless on how things work.....
There is a very big difference between negotiating good trade deals versus isolating ourselves from the rest of the world. Ask those who work at companies like Caterpillar if they would like to see us put large tariffs on everything coming into this country.
PEORIA, Ill., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Caterpillar Inc.
(NYSE: CAT) today commended President Bush's decision to lift tariffs on
imported steel.
"With the tariffs in place over the past 19 months, the U.S. steel
industry has taken steps to consolidate and improve its competitiveness,"
Caterpillar Chairman and CEO Glen Barton said. "By making the decision to
lift the tariffs now, President Bush has removed the risk of more than
$2 billion in potential retaliatory actions by the European Union against U.S.
products."
As a leading U.S. exporter, Caterpillar has a long history of advocating
for expanded free trade. The company believes both the U.S. and global
economy will benefit from this decision.

You have a very different perspective which I see as being completely wrong. As for your assertion that I am clueless, it is obvious that you are not very bright, because you have no idea of the effects of causation. When someone does not agree with you, it does not always make them stupid. Sometimes it just means that you are stupid. That's just a GOP scripted hate radio LIE, swallowed by people too lazy and stupid to check the facts! Those that are working "part-time" is because of Barrypuppetcare and have to stay under 30 hours.
When the ACA was passed there were 9,233,000 working PT who wanted FT work, there are 6,086,000 now, a DECLINE of over 3 million.
The vast majority of people working PT are working PT because they ONLY want to work PT.
Please provide a link because I don't believe that to be the case at all. I have quite a few friends that had their hours scaled back even in 2012 in anticipation of Barrypuppetcare...in the mean time, peruse this article as it pretty much sums up the crap we are in from my pint of view.....btw, don't ever try and pigeonhole me or categorize me by saying I am left or right. I don't believe in the political system because I actually know how the system works because I took the time and dedicated myself to finding out the real truth...leftwing, rightwing...body in the middle controls them both. You just foolishly believe you have a say on how your masters rule you.
Here is the link to the ACTUAL data, not your made up anecdotal BS. The ACA was signed into law Mar 23, 2010.
