The delay of the US defense capability build, via Ukraine: Is public record and under immediate investigation, and now mainly only more bi-partisan. Chairman Schiff can even be credited with a deflection, that threw the White House and GOP into obvious deflection: Keeping front and center the White House deflection of US defense, in the matter of Ukraine ground operations(?)!

And as long as there is deflection: Bringing up Crimea in the context of elections will not work to any GOP advantage in 2020. The Russian electioneering in 2014 was widely condemned, itself. Then GOP and White House went on a "No Collusion" Campaign. Then there exists a phone call--original transcript translations/parodies most likely in a majority of the known UN languages--inviting interference in the US 2020 election.
