We need to put politics aside and give recognition to the heroes of mass shootings

In the most recent case, a librarian saved 50 kids by locking them in a back room. She was inspired by her friend doing the same thing at Sandy Hook.

In the Sandy Hook shooting and the movie theater shooting, a few people died shielding someone else with their own bodies.

I’m not saying the media doesn’t cover these stories. I just think we should too.
