Yes, Mr. Drudge is a conservative ideologue whose site also serves as a crib sheet for the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. But if you believe that his huge traffic numbers are a byproduct of an ideologically motivated readership, consider that 15 percent of the traffic at WashingtonPost.com, which is not exactly a hotbed of Tea Party foment, comes from The Drudge Report.

As a conservative, I've been attacked for using Drudge Report, which I find utterly ridiculous since his page links to liberal sided media such as CNN, ABC, MNNBC, etc. The article even points out that 15% of the WashingtonPost.com's traffic comes through Drudge.

Nice to hear of this kudos to Matt Drudge from the NY Time's, which of course, I wouldn't have even seen on the Times, if not for Drudge

I enjoy Drudgerepot. They have a lot of articles I don't see at a lot of the major outlets. Plus they break news very quickly.

That's when I first found out about Drudge, he was the only person outlet who would report the story. Drudge Report has been my homepage ever since.
