Me too, and the birds etc are the tip of the iceberg, all the life in that section, increasing daily, in the gulf, that most normally cannot see, are dying. Not only an epic environmental disaster, but a human one as well.

Ya know? I'm havin' trouble myself with the news from the Gulf. The potential ramifications are, to me, so horrific I can't even wrap my mind around it. For a while, I posted articles about the spill on my Facebook page, but I just can't do it any longer. I'm wondering how many others feel the same way about this that I do. I'm also wondering what the ramifications of that are. My gut tells me I can only avoid more details for just so long before I'm at risk for being irresponsibly uninformed. But, I'll take this respite for the moment.
