Was Shirley Sherrod Fired For Appearing On Glenn Beck's Show?

Earlier interviews right after she was told to pull over and resign immediately showed Sherrod mentioning the conversation on the phone with the White House which included them accusing her of appearing on Beck's show that night. This seems pretty fishy to me. Why would they mention that to her while firing her? In my opinion this whole scandal may have been orchestrated by this White House to fire her for possibly appearing on Glenn Beck's show. They used the race angle to do this but of course it backfired on them. I don't understand why the MSM is ignoring this possibility. Mentioning Glenn Beck while firing her does seem a bit suspicious. I hope someone in the Media decides to pursue this angle. We may have all been duped on this one. It may have been all about Glenn Beck and not racism in the end. Oh well,something else to chew on i guess.

The more i look into this,the more i believe we were all duped on this one. It really may have been all about this White House's irrational hatred for Glenn Beck and not Racism. It looks like they tried to use the race angle to fire her. That obviously blew up in their faces though. This whole thing may have been orchestrated by this White House. Yea why did they even mention Glenn Beck at all while firing her? This White House does have a weird irrational hatred for Glenn Beck. I really do think we have all been duped on this. It looks like they tried to use the video footage to justify her firing instead of admitting why they were really firing her. They probably figured it would be a win/win for them. It backfired on them instead though. They likely orchestrated the whole race story. I really do hope someone in the Media pursues this angle. There is definitely more to this story.

They asked her to resign from what they saw of the clipped video on Breitbarts blog. Throwing in Beck was just panic. They didn't even bother to ask her for her side of the story, just 'pull over and resign'.

Yeah......Vilsack is the douchenozzle that did it. Personally? I think he was trying to save his job and fire her before Obama caught wind of it.

That way he could say "problem solved boss, she's outta here", but unfortunately for him, it wasn't.

Vilsack should be fired, Sherrod should be reinstated.

As far as Obama and the WH? Well, as soon as he caught wind of it, he CHECKED IT OUT, and then gave his apology to her. He tried to call her that night, but she didn't answer her cell phone, so he had to wait until the following morning to talk to her for 7 minutes.

I think they were just confused. It had been said on Hannity's Radio show that he was going to play the tape on TV at 9PM. It was never mentioned by Beck before this all broke.

They should have known better, Beck is a bomb thrower no Doubt, But so far every thing I have watched him do. Might have been radical, and controversial, But he was not making any of it up. He uses Cold Hard Facts about the things the People Obama Appoints, and is close to say and do to lay out his case that Obama is a far right Marxist that wants to Collapse the system from within and install his brand of Marxist Socialist Utopia. I do not always think he is right, and he is rather dramatic, But some of his arguments are very compelling for sure.

Really? Then why hasn't someone in Obama's administration bothered to call that red phone Beck has sitting and waiting just for them and straighten him out? Beck has said repeatedly that he may very well be wrong, misinterpreting things, etc. and for someone from the WH to call and give him the correct information, the correct meaning of such and such. But Glenn wasnt going to play the video. He didn't play the video till the next day when he came out on Sherrod's side.
