After 2011, I am really happy for the Rangers. I'm most happy for Nathan Eovaldi. Who I'm still pissed the Red Sox let walk.

The sport is 162 games. The teams play an unbalanced schedule with that and play different teams from the other league on top of that. The sport is waterlogged. They will not do this I know. Eliminate two teams. Then create two 14 team leagues. No divisions. Each team will play 12 games against other teams in the same 14 team league. that is a 156-game schedule. Either the winner of each meet in the world series or have the first two teams in each league meet in a league championship series with the winners meeting in the world series. So, Atlanta would have met Los Angeles if it was two teams in the National League. However, their schedules were unbalanced. The negative is that there are richer teams and poorer teams. So, the poorer ones are not competitive most of the time. They have to add teams to playoffs to get any into them. This year the Orioles played well and defeated the odds in that thinking.

I wish the Cards would have signed Seager.....

Under the Cardinals current field manager any Seager years would have been wasted IMVHO. Schildt was better and team was performing better than under Marmol.
