If you fight a war and lose it - like rthe Palestinians have for the last 65 years - you have to find a way to make peace with the winner.
The longer the Palestinians postpone a final peace settlement the worse the outcome will be for them. Think in what better situation they would be today if they had made peace after 1948, long before the occupation of the West Bank.

Palestine has had borders since 1922. They have not changed since then.
