Evidently neither do you do the thinking thing.

Bite Me, Princess.
Evidently you didn't read my last post to you so I'll repeat the important stuff:
Israel - 23,000 days of statehood and still winning!
"Palestine" - 0 days of statehood and still whining!
OK, so where is that documentation of Israel acquiring land?
Where is the documentation of Canada, France , Egypt or any other country acquiring land ?
It's very simple really ... Land belong to British , British don't want it and leave. Land becomes no man's land. Military struggle begins over land ownership , whoever controls the land in the end is the owner.
You only cry because your side lost the battle for it ...

Of course that is not what happened in Palestine.

Sure, Palestine is occupied by Israel.

Of course that is not what happened in Palestine.
It's exactly what happened, your just in denial because your guys were left with nothing as a result of the war they initiated ...
Your not objective at all in the matter.

You argument is based on false premise. Britain never owned Palestine.

The British had a mandate from the League of Nations to run Palestine, which they had conquered from the Turks in any event.

The British had a mandate from the League of Nations to run Palestine, which they had conquered from the Turks in any event.
The mandate was to assist the Palestinians in creating an independent state according to their wishes. Britain never claimed or annexed the territory. The truth is that the Palestinians would be much better off without Britain's help.

The mandate gave the British full control over Palestine, an area that was home to people of very different backgrounds, including substantial numbers of Jews to whom the British had promised a national home before they acquired the mandate.

Britain violated the League of Nations Covenant, their own mandate, and the Palestinians right to self determination.
We are still living with their mess.

Well, the United Nations thought otherwise.
Apparently you feel that the Jews living in Palestine had no right to self determination.

Sure they did. The Palestinian Jews were opposed to the creation of a Jewish state. Britain violated their rights.

The mess the world is still dealing with is the socially and politically primitive Arab/Muslim culture of the ME which thinks and acts as if it is moving towards a new Caliphate instead of dealing with the practical realities before it.
Well, the United Nations thought otherwise.

So now you blame the British ...
It's always somebody else, and the Palestinians are saints...
Thats the problem with the Palestinian approach in general ...
Pointing fingers on who did them wrong and then complain about it , without ever thinking about how or why did they get into the situation in the first place.
Palestinians want to go back to the 67 borders , but they had a chance to have their own state, 67 borders ,Jerusalem as capitol back in 1948 ... But what did they do ? Cried about how the Jews screwed them over and how the British screwed them over and choose to fight the Jews instead ,and got nothing as a result...
Their attitude is that screwed them over ... in the past and in the present ...

The truth is that if it were not for the British there would be no Israel. It is not a matter of blame. It is a statement of fact.
Why did they get into the situation in the first place? Good question. Some blame the Palestinians for their situation, but what did they do? What should they have done? What would you have done?
The roots of the conflict are quite simple. However there is a lot of smoke covering the basics.
The word of the day is "oppugn." That's our Tinny! So now you blame the British ...
