Upcoming Senate elections- Democrats getting trounced- Rasmussen

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports?

Kay Hagan's NC seat now goes over to the Republican side as Thom Tillis takes a nice lead. Rasmussen moves several Dem seats- republican. :)

It's funny how righties never learn. Twasn't so long ago they were insisting the polls had them convinced that Romney would beat Obama.

And this is rightie speak for "getting trounced" ...

Democrats: 45
Republicans: 46
Toss ups: 9

Hagan is not going to win.
You're ineducable, ain'tcha?
Let's get those GOP members elected to Congress, why how many more do you need to stop govt. from functioning completely??

But won't the jobless rate go back down? These are republican you know. The job creators.
Only the very stupid and uninformed believe Obama's policies had anything to do with job creation.
The economy is cyclical. It fixes itself despite not because of the administration. However, presidential policy is very influential n the RATE of growth or contraction.
Of course, this is just a coincidence ...

Every poll from a reputable pollster is worth looking at. No one individual poll tells the entire story.

It's the aggregate of polls within a relatively short time period (after Labor Day, according to conventional wisdom), a two-week time span, closer to election day, just a one-week time span - that counts.

The averages of polls from very disparate pollsters often is much closer to reality. Elevating just one poll doesn't tell us much.

The RCP averages page is ok, but often they allow extremely long time-frames and a number of polls are cold-coffee. Also, RCP filters out some pollsters who have actually become quite reputable. In spite of that, the polling aggregator there and also at TPM and also at HuffPo are all good to look at.

Democrats voting in Republican primaries should be punishable by total disenfranchisement. In fairness, should be the same for the reverse. But real Republicans would never do anything like that.

Oh, really??

Hmmm...

Rush the Vote Operation Chaos - The Rush Limbaugh Show

But what most pundits missed was the fact that Obama'svictory would have been even more overwhelming in Mississippi (and he might have won the popular vote in Texas) if not for the 'Limbaugh Effect': Republicans voting in the Democratic primary in order to undermine Barack Obama and help John McCain. ... In the voting during January and February, Republicans were an average of 3.8% of the voters in the Democratic Primary, and they heavily supported Obama. But for the primaries in March, in Texas, Ohio, and Mississippi, Republicans have been 8% of the voters in the Democratic primary, and now they heavily support Hillary Clinton. This is definite proof of the 'Limbaugh Effect' coming through."

Then you go to the last paragraph. "Rarely in American politics have so many people ever intentionally voted for a candidate they hate so much. Approximately 40,000 Republicans in Mississippi decided to vote for Hillary Clinton in order to help her destroy the Democratic Party this year with a divided convention.

Rush the Vote Operation Chaos Meeting and Exceeding Objectives - The Rush Limbaugh Show

In Pennsylvania, Senator Clinton has widened her lead over Senator Obama. This is according to a Quinnipiac University poll that was released late yesterday. "Senator Clinton now leads Senator Obama 53-41% among likely primary voters, and in the latest survey, the split between black and white voters has grown. Senator Clinton has widened her lead among women, likely Democrat primary voters, and narrowed Senator Obama's lead among men." Again, this now is in Pennsylvania. Clay Richards, who runs the Quinnipiac poll, said, "The momentum is clearly Senator Clinton's as she firms up her traditional coalition of women, white males, noncollege, rural and older voters in Pennsylvania." Not stupid, just uneducated. So, Operation Chaos is exceeding all objectives. It's now gotten to the point that the Drive-By Media is having debates about it and what to do to stop it, and how to counter it, which is only going to increase the effectiveness of Operation Chaos.

Pennsylvania does voter registration by party affiliation and holds CLOSED primaries, but voters can change their party affiliation up to 1 day before an election and they can change back afterward.

Sure some would. Ask Rush about "operation chaos" and those who said they crossed over.

Hagen was swept in on Obama's coat tails in 2008. He lost NC in 2012. She is flooding local TV with ads and I haven't seen one Tillis ad yet and still she's losing. Hagen is toast.
At the start of the campaign, before the GOP primary, Hagan had a 20 point lead over every GOP candidate.

Are you talking about 2008 or 2012?

Because in 2012 she has never been ahead by that much, ever.

You talk about the NC Senatorial race, but your link is to the Rasmussen Presidential tracker.

Disconnect.

I noticed that too. Here: Election 2014 North Carolina Senate - Rasmussen Reports trade

I don't think that Tillis will win, though, especially with even Rasmussen reporting that big of a "some other candidate" spoiler. It'll likely be the Libertarian candidate picking up most, if not all of Greg Brannon and Heather Grant's voters that'll allow Hagan to edge out Tillis.
