Had a holiday there and then went and worked in the UK for a year. Island of Arran near Glasgow was one of my favs, as was the Isle of Skye. Cardiff Arms Park in Wales... (Rugby fanatic), John O'Groats in the far north down to Land's End in Cornwall. I even kissed the Blarney Stone in Ireland...too many to mention. Proposed to my wife at Stonehenge...cool as!!!

Invigorating Winds

Listen to Mendelssohn's "Hebrides Overture." Also, the finale of his Scotch Symphony should be played as tragic, not triumphant. It tells me that he knew he wouldn't live long enough to see his beloved Scotland ever again.
