MILWAUKEE, Wis. – A pregnant girl was rushed to the hospital after she was involved in a melee involving 30 to 40 students at a high school named in honor of President Obama.

Milwaukee police descended on Barack Obama School of Career and Technical Education at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after getting calls that students were brawling, the Journal Sentinel reports.

The large number of people fighting included “outsiders,” according to police.

The pregnant girl was transported to the hospital and while en route, she allegedly kicked a paramedic, who is also pregnant, Fox 6 reports.

What is really astonishing as that according to the link provided by the OP, the school is a miserable failure.

“According to data from the state Department of Public Instruction, for the 2013-2014 academic year the school, listed as Obama Elementary, scored 39.4 out of 100. On a grading scale, that means Obama Elementary is well below failing. Only 14 schools faired worse on the state report card.”

I cannot begin to comprehend how such educational incompetence could exist in 2015. This is truly shameful. At least it is somewhat fitting that a failing school is named after a failing president.
