Trump's Tactics

I keep hearing the talking heads and all the so-called political experts saying things like
"Trump needs to change his tone if he wants to win in November" and "When is Trump gonna learn that people don't like all that negativity?". "You can't insult your opponent and expect people to vote for you".

Here's a guy who has been attacked by both parties, his own party leaders, the entire media, and virtually every big business corporate heavyweight donor and something like $2 billion spent for the sole purpose of stopping him from getting the nomination as opposed to the paltry $50 million spent by him, and still he has handily eliminated 16 opponents, (some of whom have had unlimited financing and endorsements from former presidents).

He has defied all conventional wisdom and predictions from all the "experts" claiming he would drop out early, fizzle out, never make it to 1237, be ousted at a brokered convention, you name it. Not only did he secure the nomination but he did it ahead of schedule.

One by one, his opponents fell by the wayside while Hillary still struggles to put Bernie Sanders, a broken down old socialist who never worked a day in his life outside of government, never accomplished a thing in his entire political career, and has one foot in the grave.

But STILL, everyone who has been predicting his demise is saying he will lose if he doesn't adopt a different strategy.

Why in the world should he change his strategy now?

Oh, absolutely. He shouldn't change at all.

Toro, why should he not be himself? Want him to fake it like Killary does?

Plus I bet any of us can find a poll to support what we think. There's only like a million of them out there.

November is a ways off yet. He may or may not lose. No one really can know now.

Ok gentlemen we have gone 16-0 on the season running the I (eye) formation. We've played through rain, sleet, snow, tornadoes, tsunami's, earthquakes, wild fires and we've even been attacked by our own players. Through it all, we have remained undefeated with this great offense. Today gentlemen, on the eve of the Super Bowl, we have decided to go to the shotgun formation!

I know all the ESPN analysts have criticized our "i'" formation and said we couldn't win with it, but today they announced we must use the shotgun to win. Good luck out there and bring home a victory tomorrow!!

It's more like this... You have an underdog team from the start... you play balls to the wall through a brutal season and over half your players are in the hospital or dead by the time you get to the title game. You've done good to make it this far, but how can you possibly defeat the defending champions who are completely healthy with your few remaining players and most of your team out?

Or... like a NASCAR race... you've come from the back of the pack, running people over, slamming them into the wall, crashing them out left and right... and now you've finally made it to the lead with 50 laps to go... but your car is beat to hell and back from all the aggressive driving you did to get there. Meanwhile, there is still competition who hasn't beat their car to hell and back, who've kept their nose clean and are in a position to win. You're probably not going to make it to the finish line in your heap.

Why in the world should he change his strategy now?

He hasn't run against all of America yet.

So far Trump has a winning formula, however the playing field has changed a bit and by default he will have to communicate with those he wishes to have on his side. That means there will be some change. This is where we will see whether he has what it takes to be a true leader as he needs to retain those who now support him and gain new support and backing.

Trump can now revert to type as the pro abortion, pro gun ban, pro socialized medicine liberal he really is. His false flag operation has been a signature success.

"Did I say I hate Muslims? I think they should be given instant citizenship and an EBT card!"

"Did I say I hate Mexicans? I think we should give them Texas back!"

"Come here, Bernie. Let's swap spit."

"Tactics"... implies forethought. A plan. Thinking.

Not Trump's style.

Thinking before speaking...

How do you know?

Hillary is a crazy bitch. Everyone knows this. She is terribly unlikable and a notorious lying corrupt criminal bitch.

Trump is a crazy f-ing bastard who is prone to say almost anything. He is such a narcissist that even the crazed narcissist Obama finds him overbearing and too self centered.

Take your pick.

I actually think the way he has behaved and conducted himself in the primary is how he should behave and act in the general towards the democrat... he shouldn't have done that in the primary because he needs those people to rally to him in the general and most of them aren't going to. His primary should have been more focused on substance and issues and defeating his competition in the arena of ideas but he made it personal and went nasty with it... now he has a problem.

The verdict is in on Trump tactics....

If so, then it will be up to him to fix it, ya know?

Seems the team actually gained a ton of new players to put on their roster. Yeah they lost a few along the way but they more than made up for it.

He's been attacked by his own party? Do you mean the Democrats? I love how the rightwingers on this board accuse JakeStarkey of being a fake Republican. Call the Republican establishment RINOs. But Trump? He's a real Republican. After all he's had an R after his name for a few months now. Fucking retards.

No, they actually didn't. They have the same 37% they've had all along. If he does not recover the Conservative base he will lose to Hillary Clinton in a landslide. His final numbers will be worse than Romney or McCain who both attempted, at least, to appeal to Conservatives. No one has ever fractured their party and gone on to win the presidency. It's never happened in American political history and this won't be a first. Sorry.

Watch him try. He'll even tell you that he's doing it...but you'll be too stupid to believe him.

Because now the spotlight is on him and what he can do and not about his cute nicknames and vague answers.

Its not the advice of the latest enemy you determine is against you. Its the advice of his own circle! But since you cant use your phony attacks on Trumps people you instead pretend the advice is coming from "experts" (ooohhhh scary)

Trump imitates 'presidential': That was 'easy'

FTA: Trump told his audience that new additions to his circle, like senior aide Paul Manafort, are “supplementing” the team that he already has in place, while noting that he is being pressured to be more “presidential” by those close to him.
You mean the spotlight hasn't been on him so far?

Not really.
