Record deficit , that would be trump , he nearly doubled it and republicans did nothing to try to stop it and most of that spending was before COVID came on the scene. So there was absolutely no reason for it. The inflation was the result of many factors including bad trump policies that were put in place. trump never stopped legal immigration , he slowed it down . The immigrants waited on the other side of the border for a more reasonable president and chance to make it in America. Perhaps when and if trump is ever president again he should tear down the Statue of Liberty or at least scratch off the saying " Give me your tired , your poor , Your huddled masses yearning to be free , the wretched refuse of your teemong shore.
