I think he got cornered too. Is the military in such disrepair that he had to sign this stinker? Aren't about half of our jets grounded? He might have to give up political capitol to fix the military. What an awful choice. Risk re-election or make it so we can defend ourselves. He made the only choice he could. Who wrote this stinker? Why would he work so hard to cut spending in every department to sign a wasteful bill that gives him nothing he wants? The rinos in congress are spineless and incompetent.

They have been whipping up their base into a frenzy of impeachment mania. They would have to try or risk alienating them in 2020.

With the current GOP congress they are almost better off waiting until 2020 to take over both the presidency and the congress.
