Trump: "I'm like, a smart person." Intelligence briefings unnecessary

He knows that the briefings are just the Democrat way of feeding him misinformation or outright lies. He's smart enough to know that.

Trump should listen to the CIA because they're saying Russia hacked the election???????

Apparently, Trump feels that his intelligence is so high that he will not get any more intelligent by attending intelligence briefings.

I'm beginning to suspect that Donald is actually Dilbert's pointy haired boss.

BARACK OBAMA

After the 2008 Democratic convention, Obama asked for and received one briefing, which covered terrorism and related topics, but not covert operations. GOP nominee Sen. John McCain also had a briefing.

After the election, President-elect Obama was to start receiving more sensitive intelligence information, but there was a mix-up. Intelligence briefers were ready to brief him in Chicago, starting with a few overview sessions. But Obama was under the impression that all his advisers would be briefed.

The intelligence officers said they wouldn't give it to anybody without the necessary security clearances. Obama ended up accepting one solo briefing, but said that until the clearances were arranged, he would just read the President's Daily Brief instead of getting a briefing. Eventually it was agreed that after Obama's inauguration the advisers would be looped in after they were appointed to positions that made them eligible to see it anyway.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander?

Marc Thiessen: Why is Obama skipping more than half of his daily intelligence meetings?

Obama Skipped 62.5 Percent of Intelligence Briefings this Year

Actually, I find no fault with Trump on this. it is best not to clutter up Trump's mind with things that could distract him from his mission, which is, of course, promoting Trump.

Obozo is not the standard we're looking for. Trump needs to take his job seriously.

Yes a highly arrogant person has little room in his brain left for stuff that is not about him.

That's bullshit.

The bogus claim that Obama 'skips’ his intelligence briefings

The bogus claim that Obama ‘skips’ half of his intelligence briefings

Three Pinocchio's.

BTW: When (if) you read that bogus claim debunked, look up Government Accountability Institute - that's where the bogus claim emanated from --

The GAI was run by who? Steve Bannon. Yeah, THAT Steve Bannon.

Trump should listen to the CIA because they're saying Russia hacked the election???????
The CIA never said that. A senior government official SAID that the CIA said it. An anonymous source citing a concealed report does not instill confidence.

Must be why McConnell and McCain are calling for investigations into the Russian hacking and such. All that liberal misinformation.

You know I think I liked my life better when I thought idiots like you didn't exist in our country.

So the Washington Post wrote a bogus article and then wrote a true article? Notice one of my sources was also from the Washington Post. Can't get any better than that! Lol

And, you did not comment on Obama only received one intelligence briefing before his inauguration. ..

And then Trump took his best bud Bannon's bogus claim, and tweeted this out:

One is an OPINION article by a hard core conservative - the other is a FACT CHECK. Know the difference?

Thiessen was relying on Steve Bannon's junk source, which was later debunked. Try reading.
