Trump Fascism

I'm not the jerk. YOU are the one being unreasonable.

Your reasoning is circular.

NOte the Access Hollywood tape. For one limited example.

You cited in being publicly aired as "evidence" of Trump's supposed misogyny.

But, that was recorded without his knowledge and released without his consent.
And then there was the rape of his 1st wife who testified in court and later took it back $$$$$

ANd it was locker room talk. Almost literally.

AND, it was still not misogyny.

BUT, you kind of forget that he did not mean for it to be in public. Then you assume that the women he says "let" stars do shit, that they weren't really "letting" that happen, thus it was sexual assault.

And since you thus "know" that he is an "assaulter", that leads you to be more suspicious of him on other issues and to make the harsher spin on each and every issue, real and imagined.

AND then they become more gist for your mill of assumptions, ect ect ect.

YOU are the one that needs to put his biases aside, not me.

I spent years in locker rooms and dugouts and never engaged in or heard anyone use the language trump did. Anyone who made the claims trump did would have been laughed out of the locker room or dugout.

You never heard a man brag about his sexual conquests? Never? That is your position.

I know you are old. Maybe you just forgot. Try remembering.

I have, heard it, and a couple of times bragged, though not as vulgarly as Trump did. But being vulgar was not your point, was it?

Do you think that very rich and famous men have an easier time getting laid than regular guys?

That's not my experience. A question best asked of Women, and I suspect they will dispel this myth.

Lounge Lizards is how my college girl friend (who was a 49er Cheerleader) described some of the players and other personnel whose behavior turned most of her colleagues off.

Well, myself and Trump believe otherwise, ie that rich and famous men have it easier when it comes to the dating game.

That was the opinion he was sharing with the younger men on that bus.

It is a fairly common opinion, and hardly evidence of sexism, or fascism.

For you to try to use it as evidence of fascism, is more revealing about YOU, than it is about Trump.

That was only one data point, bozo, did you forget all those women who came forward? The two who were paid off, and the attack on Megyn Kelly in the Republican Debate?

And that is the Logical Fallacy of Shotgun argument.

YOu throw a big pile of accusations, to discourage anyone from tying to address them.

And if some one does challenge one, you just move on to another one, never admitting that previous one was refuted, but not trying to defend it so much as just keeping the smear going.

It works both ways. You want the "supposed" credibility of other points to lend credibility to this accusation.

But, the weakness of THIS claim, undermines the credibility of other unproven accusations or interpretations.

Are you admitting that it was wrong of you to cite the public locker room talk of Trump, when someone else leaked the tape against his will?

Before we can move on, we have to establish that we are done here.

How many more examples of Trumps authoritarianism do you need to see before some of you figure it out?

Trump Allies Target Journalists Over Coverage Deemed Hostile to White House
Kenneth P. Vogel and Jeremy W. Peters

Arthur Schwartz, right, a conservative consultant who is a friend and informal adviser to the president’s eldest son, and Richard Grenell, the American ambassador to Germany.

A loose network of conservative operatives allied with the White House is pursuing what they say will be an aggressive operation to discredit news organizations deemed hostile to President Trump by publicizing damaging information about journalists.

It is the latest step in a long-running effort by Mr. Trump and his allies to undercut the influence of legitimate news reporting. Four people familiar with the operation described how it works, asserting that it has compiled dossiers of potentially embarrassing social media posts and other public statements by hundreds of people who work at some of the country’s most prominent news organizations.

The group has already released information about journalists at CNN, The Washington Post and The New York Times — three outlets that have aggressively investigated Mr. Trump — in response to reporting or commentary that the White House’s allies consider unfair to Mr. Trump and his team or harmful to his re-election prospects.

Trump Allies Target Journalists Over Coverage Deemed Hostile to White House

In actual fascism.....you use government troops to actually shut down news organizations.....in actual fascist countries, the government completely controls the economy....in actual fascist governments, the government does not obey court decisions..

Please...when any of this happens, let us know....

Trump is a fascist. Everybody knows this.

Nobody even knows what fascism means.

The 14 points of Fascism
  1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism

Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.

  2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights

Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.

  3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause

The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

  4. Supremacy of the Military

Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.

  5. Rampant Sexism

The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Opposition to abortion is high, as is homophobia and anti-gay legislation and national policy.

  6. Controlled Mass Media

Sometimes the media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.

  7. Obsession with National Security

Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.

  8. Religion and Government are Intertwined

Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.

  9. Corporate Power is Protected

The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.

  10. Labor Power is Suppressed

Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.

  11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts

Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts is openly attacked, and governments often refuse to fund the arts.

  12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment

Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

  13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption

Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.

  14. Fraudulent Elections

Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
In short, TRUMPISM

Moron....fascism is socialism.....everything you just listed happened in the socialist countries where the socialists had complete control.....

Fascism: The Concise Encyclopedia of Economics | Library of Economics and Liberty

As an economic system, fascism is socialism with a capitalist veneer. The word derives from fasces, the Roman symbol of collectivism and power: a tied bundle of rods with a protruding ax. In its day (the 1920s and 1930s), fascism was seen as the happy medium between boom-and-bust-prone liberal capitalism, with its alleged class conflict, wasteful competition, and profit-oriented egoism, and revolutionary Marxism, with its violent and socially divisive persecution of the bourgeoisie.
Fascism substituted the particularity of nationalism and racialism—“blood and soil”—for the internationalism of both classical liberalism and Marxism.
Where socialism sought totalitarian control of a society’s economic processes through direct state operation of the means of production, fascism sought that control indirectly, through domination of nominally private owners.

Where socialism nationalized property explicitly, fascism did so implicitly, by requiring owners to use their property in the “national interest”—that is, as the autocratic authority conceived it. (Nevertheless, a few industries were operated by the state.)

Where socialism abolished all market relations outright, fascism left the appearance of market relations while planning all economic activities. Where socialism abolished money and prices, fascism controlled the monetary system and set all prices and wages politically.

In doing all this, fascism denatured the marketplace.Entrepreneurship was abolished. State ministries, rather than consumers, determined what was produced and under what conditions.

Before we can move on, we have to establish that we are done here.

Go stalk someone else, trump is a megalomaniac. Prove he isn't!

Well, that was a complete intellectual collapse.

You really demonstrated the Shotgun argument, by completely abandoning your entire argument, ie that Trump is a "fascist" changing the whole argument to, Trump is a "meglomaniac".

The funny part is, you have not actually abandoned your argument about him supposedly being a fascist, you have just sideline it while you try to distract from it with a completely new accusation, ie meglomaniac.

You'll be back to the fascist argument. Making the same points that you gave up on when challenged on here.

And if seriously challenged, you will use the same dishonest evasion techniques you used here.

All the while the point is not to actually engage in any real discussion, but to create the illusion of a real serious possibility that Trump is a "fascist" in the minds of those who make the mistake of taking your statements at face value.

And this isn't just you. THis is the whole liberal movement. By and large, the majority of outspoken liberals have realized that they cannot hope to defend their positions honestly, based on their strengths of their arguments.

So, they just spout propaganda.

Actually I had an appointment at Kaiser this afternoon. However, I'm sick and tired of your efforts to defend trump, he's a disaster. I've posted accurate data from the DSM on why he is unfit to be POTUS; his flips and flops; his lies and total incompetence; and his childish behavior.

All of which are in the public domain.

Wow. He "flips and flops"?

Well, we are making progress. Just a few hours ago, you were talking crazy talk about him being a fascist.

I'm glad you dropped that.

I agree. Trump flips and flops. Possibly more than average for a President.

But I like the idea of having a trade policy that is more balanced. I live in the Rust Belt. We really have been screwed over the last couple of decades by "Free Trade".

The status quo of just basically giving up on manufacturing as a source of jobs for Americans, IMO, is insanely irresponsible, and Trump is far better than any other available candidate.

Why do you oppose Trade Policy designed to encourage US jobs?

It's unfortunate that I needed to put on ignore several members of the USMB who continued to harass me; they refuse to debate these 14 points of fascism by posting ad hominems and dogmatism's ad nausea.

Their ignorance, denial and/or dishonesty, and lack of consideration for rational and reasonable debate has become too burdensome, for their constant logical fallacies is an obvious effort by them to stifle debate.

Let history decide if trumpism is the new iteration of fascism, and let all freedom loving voters decide in the fall of 2020 that Trump&Co. must be tossed out of power, a power that trump continues to abuse along with Moscow Mitch and other radical Republicans in Congress.

Trump is a fascist. Everybody knows this.

I do not see Trump actively trying to censor everyone who disagrees. I do see the left-wing doing that. I see Antifa trying to violently intimidate anyone with a different view. I see protestor storming college campuses when someone with a different view shows up. I see people pressuring Youtube to remove Steven Crowder, even after Youtube openly admitted that Crowder broke no rules.

I see the left-wing being fascist. Not the right-wing.

How about you get your people to stop being fascist first. Then we'll talk about Trump.

Practice what you preach, or stop preaching, eh?

If you don't "see Trump actively trying to censor everyone who disagrees" you are not looking.

Trump has effectively attempted and succeeded in censoring (the few) that the MSM is all Fake News!

Trump has singled out individual journalists, the classic example is Megyn Kelly during the first Republican Debate.

You've been brainwashed to believe students at CAL stormed the college when two conservatives were to speak; the truth is students were not storming, they were peacefully protesting (see the First Amendment for their right); those who dress in black and wear masks are a minority of mostly non students who hang out on Telegraph Ave and are known to be anarchists with a propensity to violence.

Provide Evidence.

1. Nationalism:
“I’m with Her” and Hussein-O logos. Che T-shirts and flags at every leftwing gathering. And today the “Antifa” flag which directly copied the old German fascist flag.

2. Disdain of human rights:
Abortion.
Slavery in the South.
Continued support for Chinese slavery to appease corporate masters.

3. Scapegoats:
White privilege. White males. Straight people, especially white males. Christian “bigots” that don’t support faggotry. “Climate deniers” who endanger the world. Any “Trump supporter” is a racist.

4. Military:
The left hate our military, but do love their militant branch of Antifa, and cheer them when they attack innocent people, especially whites (see #3).

5. Rampant Sexism:
#MeToo exposed many leftwingers as sexists. “BJ” Clinton and his numerous sexual assaults get dismissed by all those on the left. Protection of pedophile rings and supporting pedo rights.

6. Controlled Mass Media:
CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc are all propaganda arms of the DNC. Cover up and ignore negative stories about Dems, blast false stories about conservatives non-stop. Drum up outrage by false narratives. The Left own this one.

7. Obsession with National Security:
Dems and globalists like to use this for excuses to go to war. The Hussein started wars in Libya, Syria, and tried to in Egypt. They are now using “national security” as their excuse to push their global warming Agenda.

8. Religion and Government:
Although they claim to want “separation of church and state”, Dems incorporate their personal beliefs into their politics. Their global warming hoax is a religion, and base all their policies off it. They also love Muslims, who are incapable separating their batshit crazy religion and politics, see Omar and friends. Then there is their biology-denial belief, and they are trying to mandate biology-denial.

9. Corporate Power is Protected:
Full support from the left to allow corporations to move jobs overseas and to automate jobs. They oppose tariffs against China, but support tariffs against the US. Dems support corporate profits over jobs for Americans.

10. Labor Power suppression:
See #9, Dems love to ship jobs overseas. Dems would rather keep lower class on welfare than give them jobs.

11. Distain for intellectuals and Arts:
Conservative speakers being banned from campuses and prevented from first amendment rights. Firing staff who refuse to conform to leftwing lunacy, like being forced to use non-binary pronouns.

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment:
Hence the term “Social Justice Warrior”, or more accurately a social justice terrorists. Dreaming up offenses and demanding punishment, often by lynch mob as opposed to actual persecution and trial using collected evidence. Publicly humiliating people without any evidence simply because they have different opinions. Destroying any perceived “enemy” at all costs, see Bret Kavanaugh and of course Mueller’s Russia hoax.

13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption.
See DNC emails. Rigging the primaries for their chosen one. See the Hussein Regime and their spying on the opposition during an election. Everyone knows how corrupt the Clintons are, several of their staff went to prison for selling out to China. The Dems and corruption go hand in hand.

14. Fraudulent Elections.
Dems can’t win without cheating. They oppose voter ID laws and favor importing illegal aliens since they know they can and will vote for Dems.
