Trump Didn't Call Neo-Nazis 'Fine People.' Here's Proof.

Which “very fine people” was he talking about? The “Unite the Right” rally was partly organized by a well-known white nationalist, Richard Spencer, and included both neo-Nazis and white supremacist groups. Former Ku Klux Klan head David Duke was a scheduled speaker. The cause they were protesting — the removal of Lee’s statue — is one supported by many nonwhite supremacists and nonwhite nationalists, but this rally was clearly not one for your average supporter of Confederate monuments.

He was talking about the regular people on each side of the issue, not the hate groups.
Sorry but 'regular' people don't attend rallies set up by hate groups.

Interesting assumption. What do you base that on, other than your desire to smear people you hate?
I've never seen a pro-lifer marching in a pro-choice rally. I've seen them protesting but never being on the same side. Have you?

I've seen pro-choicers lured into a rally that turned out to be a freaking socialists/marxist rally.

So, I know that that type of thing can and does happen.

So, like I asked you, what do you base your assumption on?
Decades of real-world experience and the fact that I never heard anyone who marched in Charlottesville claim they were 'lured' there under a false flag. Have you heard different?

1. How can you have decades of real world experience with a singular event? What do you mean by that?

2. I did see one vid clip offered, on it. ON Scott Adams blog site, from a small group of 4 that were there.

3. Speaking of your decades of real world experience, when was the last time you heard of a neonazi rally reaching triple digits?

1. I've been to many protests and marches in my life.
3. Don't keep track but what's your point?

1. Sure. you've been to many protests. How many have you been to, organized by dishonest neo-nazis trying to inflate their importance?

3. I've been unable to find good numbers on the rally, but it seems far larger than any other neo-nazi rally I have heard of in my entire life, before or since. I believe they got unusual turnout, solely because they were dishonest in their advertising. Which I present as evidence that many, in not MOST of those there, were not neo-nazis.

1. I've never attended any event sponsored by neo-nazis or white supremacists, honest or not. Even if they claimed to support something I agreed with I'd never attend.

3. I'm sure you're right, most attendees were not neo-naziis, they just shared the goals of the neo-naziis.

I don't care what he actually said, what's important is the message I receive from prog-nation.

1. So that shit cans your claim to have lots of real world, relevant experience.

3. My point stands. DO you wish to address it, or are you just here to be a dick?

1. How many neo-nazi or white supremacist rallies or marches have you attended that you're such an expert you can judge my experience?

3. You refer to your point for which you've been unable to find good numbers? You refer to your point that this rally seems far larger than any other neo-nazi rally? You refer to your point that you believe they got unusual turnout, solely because they were dishonest in their advertising? That is what supports your point? A very unconvincing point.

1. My point is not based on me being an expert on anything, but on the not at all shocking idea that neo nazis might be dishonest in their attempt to get more people at their rally to exaggerate their perceived relevance. You are the one that claimed personal expertise in knowing that can't happen.

3. Pictures show larger crowds than I normally see. Reports at the time talked about a large turnout. I recall "hundreds" being mentioned, which was shocking to me, because nazis NEVER get numbers like that, not in generations. Normally is they get to double digits, they are doing pretty well.

CNN’s Tapper: Trump Didn’t Say ‘White Supremacists Are Very Fine People’

CNN’s Jake Tapper acknowledged Friday that President Donald Trump was not, in fact, referring to the neo-Nazis who demonstrated 2017 in Charlottesville, Virginia, when he said, “There were good people on both sides.”
The comments have resurfaced after former Vice President Joe Biden used the president’s comments in a video announcing his presidential campaign the day before

.......Unite the Right is NO different from Asian/black/hispanic groups that promote their own race
..Trump was never wrong in what he said
