Trump Calls on Sessions to ‘Stop the Rigged Witch Hunt Right Now’

Obstruction of justice????
So that's what set Trump off! Interesting.
Trump is focused on dropping "Collusion" in his tweets/speeches, that he forgot about obstruction of justice!
Could this end up being a double whammy" Conspiracy to interfere in an election and obstruction of justice?

President Trump's cluster of tweets on Wednesday morning attacking the Russia investigation reportedly came after he learned that special counsel Robert Mueller wants to ask him about obstruction of justice.

ABC News, citing sources close to the White House, reported that Trump was upset with Mueller's interest in obstruction. As a result, he fired off a fresh round of attacks on Mueller's credibility, and called for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to end the investigation.

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further," Trump tweeted.

Rudy Giuliani, Trump's lead attorney in the Russia investigation, disputed that the president was directing Sessions to fire Mueller. He argued that Trump uses Twitter to express his opinions, which is what the president was doing Wednesday morning.

Trump's latest barrage of criticism came as Mueller is reportedly looking at the president's tweets as part of an investigation into whether he obstructed justice. The New York Times reported Mueller could look at the tweets as part of a larger pattern of behavior.

Giuliani has been coy about the likelihood of an interview between Trump and Mueller. He has repeatedly said Trump wants to interview with Mueller, while simultaneously casting doubt on the chances of it happening.

He said last week that Trump would only agree to an interview if the special counsel ruled out questions about obstruction of justice and instead focused only on whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.

Because it is still unethical and distasteful, and it can be part of conspiracy to defraud, which is a crime
So we are now going to investigate distastefulness.....holy shit Mueller is going to be very busy in DC....all you want and hope for is that all of this noise will turn Trump voters away from him....did you see the rally last night.....it ain't working in fact his approval within the GOP is at 90%....never before heard of except for right after 9-11....

everything sets Goldilocks off - chances are pretty good Mueller is closing in on the Cartel, and Trump feels the heat. He's retreated to his safe place on the campaign trail so he doesnt implode from the pressure of wondering who will throw his fat ass under the bus, and when. Lying his ass off and having crowds of idiots believe him and cheer dulls his blood pressure.

from what I'm getting out of this is a conspiracy charge will be Muellers best play in the long run.

But, there are voters that aren't Republican and Trump is way below the water line with Democrats (naturally), but also the largest voting demographic, Independents.

So we are now going to investigate distastefulness....
Correct. And unethical behavior on the part of a campaign. And Russian interference.

Now you're getting it!

By the way, the things you are complaining about are absurd. For instance, when a stock trade appears as though it may be fishy, the SEC investigates. When a campaign donation or expense appears as though it may be part of a crime, the FEC investigates. When a bank transaction appears as though it could be part of a crime, the FBI investigates. You are inventing, on the spot, absurd standards that you reserve for your dear leader. Nobody else observes this fantasy.

Oh please...you should know that a rally means almost NOTHING. You could get thousands/tens of thousands out to almost any rally for a major politician. Hell...if Obama (whose political career is dead) threw a rally, it would be no less loud and crowded than Trump's was.

1) where is your link to an unbiased source for this 90% number, please. Not saying it is false - but I take no one's word for anything on chat forums.

2) Even if your number is true...it probably ain't going to be nearly enough. Even the biased Rasmussen has Trump trailing in the polls by 2% (the other - less biased - polls have him trailing by 10%). And my (for years) personal favorite - Gallup - has him down by 15%.
Trump cannot even get over the top with bias Rasmussen...even with a (supposedly) booming economy.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Trump Job Approval

The key to Trump's re-election is the independent voters.
Plus he has to hope the Dem voters stay at home as much as they did last time. But with their intense hatred of the job Trump is doing....that is doubtful.

Obama could never put together a rally like that....no current politician could...Hillary never did....only a true outsider can raise that much cane.....

Do we need any more evidence of obstruction of justice?

Can impeachment be far benind?

Its over dude....Mueller has nothing and even is being embarrassed in open court by Judge Ellis....Mueller's henchmen look like a high school debate team...Mueller stands a real chance of losing the case against Manaforte for lack of evidence and bias.....that's huge and that is why Trump is calling for an end to the whole destructive thing....

Man put down the CNN pipe...we are so far in the opposite direction that you sound as if you have been on a deserted island for 4 weeks.....

LOL...for God's sakes. If you are going to make a matter-of-fact statement. At least do a little research to see if it is true or not (so you don't make yourself look silly).

Now are you going to provide that unbiased link I asked for (backing up your claim that Trump has 90% of the GDP) or not?

You said: 'Obama could never put together a rally like that'

You were saying?
Not today....we are talking about today...

Wrong...you said 'never'.

'Definition of never
1: not ever : at no time
  • I never met her
2: not in any degree : not under any condition
  • never the wiser for his experience'
Definition of NEVER

'Never' means at no time in history. Obama already had at least one large rally as big as Trump's...so your statement is 100% wrong.

And you keep ducking my simple question (for the third time).

Now where is that link to Trump's supposed 90% GOP support?

Or did you pull that out of your ass as well?
