She went all the way from the Congo to Mexico to get into America? What where they no nearer nations she could have gone to that are not in Civil War like for example Kenya or Tanzania? Oh I forgot Kenya and Tanzania do not have Gibs Me Dat

^^^^ So the above map, the Congo is arrowed blue, the not in a Civil War Kenya is arrowed green, the not in a Civil War Tanzania is arrowed pink, so instead of this creature going to either of her nations neighbouring states of Kenya or Tanzania she instead travels across the entire Atlantic Ocean to end up on the Mexican border with America, that distance from the Congo is arrowed yellow.

Under International Law if escaping from a conflict they are supposed to present themselves in the FIRST and NEAREST nation that is NOT in a conflict and apply there to be taken in. That would be either Kenya or Tanzania and NOT America.
