Are you guys really that slow? Trayvon's case was not going to be a case because the police did not want to investigate it or bring GZ to trial. Thats what the all the coverage was about. Once the white race baiters started acting like you guys are now thats when it blew up.

it doesnt matter if the cops were wrong or right. They are not the judicial system. The case should have been immediately turned over to the courts. White race baiters = white people who think that this case was about anything other than the fact that GZ was not immediately arrested and placed in the court system for shooting a black child.

BTW, GZ was taken into custody that night. It was determined that it was self defense and there was no cause to arrest him. The attorney general disagreed and instead of sending it before the grand jury, arrested him on 2nd degree murder charges and wasted everybody's time and money. Obviously the cops that night were in the right.

There is a real problem with our society. the trend now is people are to quick to kill someone in the name of self defense. but that is really driven by the fact that you have to assume if someone is attacking you, there is a very good chance they will killl you. years ago, you just beat someone up a little and that was it. both parties walked away. but today, people will drop you for little to no reason at all. we really need a strong focus to be pushed on our moral values and sense of decency. and that needs to be driven by everyone, our leaders, the media, our social organizations, parents, teachers, friends, entertainment fields, movies, music and literature. It is going to take a wholesale effort to get us back in a good place

No one is arguing that the murder of this child was justified, nor reasonable, nor any other kind of rational act you want to name.

From the TV & magazine & newspaper POV, the crime was simply too gruesome to show. & with no picture to show, there was no mass outcry about the heinous nature of the crime. Just as the visual media shy away from showing the actual results of warfare - mangled dead bodies, swollen with decay & gasses, wounded civilians & soldiers bleeding out or crying uncontrollably - it's simply not done. It might be a good thing to actually show what a "surgical" drone strike does to human flesh, but that's beside the point.
