I still don't see any crime committed by Stone.
If one did risk prosecution over something, then one is legally allowed to lie about it under oath.
The is the right against self incrimination.
That does not just mean you can plead the 5th amendment because pleading the 5th IS still self incriminating.
And Congress is not a judicial body.
Its entire goal and purpose is political, so clearly everyone not only has a right, but should lie to congress.

Tomeka Hart, a former Memphis City Schools Board President, came forward as the Stone jury foreperson in a Facebook post on Wednesday, voicing support for prosecutors in the case.

Hart confirmed to The Daily Memphian that she wrote the Facebook post, but she declined an interview with the newspaper.

Stone supporters were shocked when a review of Hart's social media posts showed that she posted on Twitter mocking Stone's dramatic arrest prior to being seated on the jury, and frequently denounced Trump, including calling the president and his supporters racists.

It's unclear whether Stone's political views and social media history were disclosed during jury selection, potentially raising questions about fairness that could impact the verdict on appeal.

Andrew Napolitano believes President Donald Trump’s former adviser, Roger Stone, should get a new trial.

The Fox News senior judicial analyst has known Stone for over four decades but said that has no bearing on the fact that the long-time Trump ally is “absolutely entitled” to a new trial in light of an “inherent bias” from a jury member.

“He is absolutely entitled to a new trial with a member of the jury making these types of revelations about the politics involved in the decisions to prosecute him,” Napolitano told “Fox & Friends” Thursday.

“I presided over 150 jury trials and most were criminal,” the former New Jersey Superior Court judge said.

“It is the duty of the judge to ensure that both the government and the defendant get a fair trial and if the judge discovers afterwards that there was a built-in inherent bias on the part of a member of a jury against the defendant, that is an automatic trigger for a new trial,” Napolitano explained.

Social media posts resurfaced from the left-wing, anti-Trump activist who was the foreperson of the jury that convicted Stone last year. Former Memphis City Schools Board President Tomeka Hart posted about Stone’s case before she had even voted to convict him on obstruction charges.

My only knowledge of the incident is from this thread so not sure if he/she lied [perhaps omission?] doesn't really matter, if there really is bias involved you do not take the chance that it could affect his/her decision.

Are you claiming she lied ?

Of course she lied. Any reasonably competent attorney would have asked her a list of questions designed to discover any type of bias she may have had, including personal or political bias. I don't know the specific questions she was asked, but I'm convinced she had to lie to become a juror.

There will be another trial. If the trial court does not grant a new trial, an appeals court will. That's pretty much a given. If you read the entire link provided by the OP, you will understand why.
