Time to face the facts

And I AM a smaller, leaner, more focused govt guy. But have ZERO problem with CRA or Equal Opportunity. Those didn't make govt Larger and more unresponsive. Those are Civil Liberty issues. And I'm 100% a Civil Liberty guy. NOT necessarily SOLELY a "civil rights" guy. Because those are just one SUBSET of Civil Liberty issues.

And like I said, there was none of this smaller leaner argument when the government was cranking out programs that benefitted whites.

The gouged tick has done nothing but GROWN and gotten terminally inept and lazy. So yeah.. Maybe you missed the days when it actually COULD respond to people's needs. It's currently dead ass broke and frozen by juvenile horseshit pranksters.

We should work to fix that. For BOTH our interests..

Rhodesia was great till socialists took it over. The same go's for South Africa, and Nigeria as well. Face it, it ain't the color of the person running it, it's how corrupt they are, and how socialist the government is that takes over after the colonization.

Right, it's the socialism, LOL. Which is easily shown by pointing to the counter-examples that abound of well run non-socialist majority black countries and, conversely, the utter dearth of well run socialist white run countries.

Of course, this explains why so many Swedes are risking their lives in rickety boats just for a chance at a better life in Ghana.

Westwall is the worst kind of racist. His opinion of blacks is so low he has to force himself to hold opposing positions simultaneously. People who respect others are honest about them. Westwall is the benevolent white parent protecting the black children from the truth.

Hey Westwall, blacks can't run shit. They can't run countries. They can't run cities, counties, or school districts. A few can run car washes. That said, they kick everyone's ass running backyard bar-b-cues. Not only that, blacks punch way above their weight culturally--they dominate the world, in fact. You never see commercials showing Asians sprinkled around to lend a product sex appeal, do you? I've lived in Beijing, and I've lived in the deepest darkest neighborhood in Baltimore. Guess what. Beijing dances to Baltimore's beat. Do you understand what that means you dishonest sap? President Xi isn't going to shoot his own children, and his children are under the power of West North Ave. West North Ave doesn't give a shit about Beijing.

Rhodesia was great until the socialists took over? Haha, yeah, if only Mugabe were a Republican, Zimbabwe would be Finland. Haha. What a maroon.

BTW, you said I considered blacks inferior and wanted a separation between blacks and whites. I said I would make a donation to this board if you could come up with a single example of me posting anything of the kind. I'm still waiting for your answer.

its impact in the form of residential segregation patterns persists with households of color more likely to live in neighborhoods characterized by higher poverty rates, lower home values, and a declining infrastructure compared to neighborhoods inhabited predominantly by white residents.

So WHERE blacks live is supposed to be purely a matter of choice by govt edict? Well, why not Beverley Hills? or the Hamptons? or Palm Beach coast? What does that sentence even MEAN??

I can tell you for a FACT -- that after 20 years of living out in Cali --- almost every neighborhood the Hispanics took over EXPLODED in value and attraction. At least until the 2000s when a different "type" of immigrant started arriving.

They took the worst part of my old town in Cali and made a junky neighborhood into a thriving and reviving "little Tijuana. Used to go shop and frequent the restaurants and services. Until -- the new-comers arrived.

That stuff happens. COULD happen in traditional black neighborhoods. Maybe it does in some places. But in the big urban centers -- it's really really hard to get over the HIGH TAXES and poor service from the "lefty" govts.

Just an FYI, here:

One of the biggest issues holding blacks back economically is the pervasive and wrong belief that wealth comes from the government. It doesn't. To the extent anyone believes that, they will be poor.

Blacks don't believe that wealth comes from the government, But we do know there have been all kinds of government programs and handouts whites have gotten and continue to get.

Like I said, there was no gouged tick when whites were the sole benefactor of government programs. In fact whites gladly paid a high tax rate during the 50's and that built suburbs, the interstate highway system and generally was responsible for the fabulous 50's.

Again keep your opinion out of this and discuss the facts you are shown. You took one sentence out of the information given to make this comment and you deny the policy that created the situation.

While homeownership plays a central part in building family wealth in the United States, the nation’s public policies have systematically operated to shut Black and Latino families out of numerous opportunities to build housing wealth that benefitted white families.

The politics of grievance. This is why I no longer believe a multiracial, multicultural democracy can work. Once everything is group vs group, we're Kenya. When whites were 90 percent of the population we could still vote for what we thought was best for the country, even if we didn't allow blacks to use the highways in the fabulous 50s. But then the Jews succeeded in making whites a minority along with everyone else, which means now it's all race all the time in the ballot box from here on out. Sad.

Most of your posts are "blacks are bad, whites are good" which is a subtle form of white separatism, you may be dumb, but we're not. We understand your code. And yes, it is socialism that is the enemy. Kenya is a mainly decent country. The problem is their leader is a Amherst graduate. Not exactly a bastion of conservatism there eh. Botswana, is a wonderful country, rich is diamonds, and a stable democracy. And, holy shit................ IT'S RUN BY BLACK PEOPLE!

I thought you claimed that wasn't possible!

Those communities WERE LARGELY successful and much IMPROVED by their "takeover". Until about 2000. When it became apparent to most EVERYONE except the media and politicians -- that there was HUGE Hispanic support for LIMITING NEW immigration. Because the NEW wave was a threat to what they had built.

What happened to the FHA is racist discussion?? I thought you were gonna tutor on that..

"Housing" -- does not = "home ownership". Because the economics don't favor home OWNERSHIP doesn't mean people are homeless. My daughter is currently in grad school. Making LESS than folks on SSI disability. But she and boyfriend have a great apartment downtown that fun and livable.

Part of the ownership issue is WHERE folks decide to own. They could relocate out of expensive metros and get TWICE the house for 1/2 price and taxes.. So that's a personal decision that MIGHT be tainted by "not getting out enough" and SEEING the options first hand... You might NOT qualify to own in downtown Baltimore, but you COULD qualify in suburb Atlanta, Birmingham or Topeka.

We will look at that but right now we are looking at DEMOS study. You seem to ignore a lot of things. You can just relocate you say, well can you? What happens if the real estate agent steers you away from certain neighborhoods? This happens and until you understand this happens its going to be difficult for you to understand how I say the things I do. Like I said you have been conditioned by conservative half truths and in many cases out right falsehoods on racism and how certain things happen due to it.

What you need to is focus on that 1934 policy, understand it was used openly for at least 34 years and the processes created by that policy. That policy was part of the process used by the FHA and it was a racist policy which is all part of the racism that was part of the FHA decision making process. I don't know what you think racism is, whether you think that for things to be racist that the FHA had to requite people wearing capes and hoods, but when I say that the FHA operated in a racist fashion, it s because they did.

The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) revolutionized home ownership by creating our current financial mortgaging system. In the process, it produced a lending structure which helped to solidify the racial segregation that still exists today.

The FHA has insured over 35 million home mortgages and 47,205 multifamily project mortgages since 1934. Currently, FHA has 4.8 million insured single-family mortgages and 13,000 insured multifamily projects in its portfolio.1
The Underwriting Handbook used by the FHA endorsed the practice of redlining, which marked African-American neighborhoods as ineligible for FHA mortgages.

And this is what happens when we ask people to stick to the facts that are presented instead f people getting to blurt out all kinds of crazy opinions about black people. Nobody wants to look at the facts, but they all want to keep making the racist derogatory attacks on blacks.

The facts are, blacks should:

Pull up their pants
Stay in school
Be a father to their children
Try to talk actual English
Fix their broken communities
Stop eating so much junk food
Stop being such racists
...

I know what you mean, the real estate agent tried to steer us away from raw land, instead showed us property where the trees had been ripped from the ground..

They didn't ENDORSE redlining. They confirmed the eligibility requirements. And it's their BUSINESS to have HEALTHY loans. If that statistically rules out lower income neighborhoods -- that's CLASSISM -- not racism...

OR --- like I said before they are allowed to take into consideration the trajectory of property in those neighborhoods. If blight is CREEPING in and not REVERSED -- the capital in the loan will be reduced over time.

If you can afford a home in bombed out Cleveland -- you can afford TWICE that home 10 miles out of the city.
That's the reality here.. Take your family and stuff and MOVE out of the blight..
