This is Texas!

For a short time only , bear your 1839 Lone Star during the Alamo battle, being serenaded by a Scottish comedian! Best played together.

I was born in Texas.

Then I moved to Alabama and the school prom looked like... Well, I'm just saying, and the water Everywhere. I don't need water, I need blue bonnets. Governor blue bonnets.

How come such distinct dialects in the same state? Somebody be segregating they selves.

It is near Houston which is a large city, more diversity, and a disproportionately high African-American population.
All you had to say was blacks speaking a dialect rooted in skin color and transcending geography. The same dialect in Houston as a fifth generation black in St Paul, MN.

Anybody heard the commercial playing this one just this last week? Ya there's a Commercial playing Ornette Coleman's song. Austin Texas, and negroblakinator.
