So pornhub says they will ban Texas because Texas is requiring them to have age verification. You know, to make sure children aren't watching porn on their site. So pornhub is upset that not everyone can just watch porn on their site including children, and decided to block them.

I don't understand why a porn site wouldn't want to protect children. It doesn't limit anyone's rights or anything at all. It's no different than back in the day you had to be old enough to buy a copy of penthouse and they weren't kept behind the counter or up on the top shelf with the covers partially obscured. No different than you can't buy cigarettes, or alcohol or drive a care unless you're of a certain age with ID.

Porn never used to be a problem before it was so shockingly easy to get ahold of by anyone, anywhere, anytime. But this insane abundance of porn that everyone with a device anywhere can just see endless of has ruined entire generations of kids perceptions of sex, love and the opposite sex.

But this is also the same porn site that evidently had roadblocks in place to prevent reporting of child porn or ties to child sex trafficking.

Money got them out of trouble. When investigated they entered into a deferment deal and only had to pay a measly 1.8 million to get out of which. So they just bought their way out of trouble which means they will just keep on doing it

Well... it's like this, if Pornhub has to verify the children it also has to verify the adults; basically verify everyone.

The adults they don't want to be verified. Good job Texas! :5_1_12024: :mm: drain that swamp

Texas can require age-verification on porn sites, 5th Circuit judges rule

One judge dissents, saying Texas law "limits adults' access to protected speech."

JON BRODKIN - Monday at undefined

Texas can enforce a law requiring age-verification systems on porn websites, the US Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit ruled Thursday. The appeals court vacated an injunction against the law's age-verification requirement but said that Texas cannot enforce a provision requiring porn websites to "display health warnings about the effects of the consumption of pornography."

appeals court let the law pass- Amen

Fake news ...

There are dozens of free-to-download VPN software packages ... besides there's WAY TOO MUCH MONEY to be made tagging commercial porn sites as such in the header, it's good business keeping children out ... have none of you ever working in a bar or tavern? ... having children underfoot is bad for business ...

I will admit it is easier to avoid porn on the internet these days ... 20 years ago, one couldn't open their e-mail without seeing girls asking us to fuck them ... now if I could just get all these 30-something little girls in the neighborhood to quit pestering me for sex, I could be happy ...

Because in the age of capitalism, people want to make money, and screw everyone else.

They know that people will just get VPNs to get around it, including the kids. (Or especially the kids)

Unsurprisingly, this skyrocketed searches for the best VPNs. According to a SlashGear report sent to Mashable, searches for "Texas VPN" jumped by 1,750 percent in the past day. It also spotted a 1,600 percent increase for the phrase "How to access Pornhub.

I think many sites protest the move because they already ask if someone is 18 before entering. If you lie about your age then you’re going to lie about your age no matter what the site does. For many sites the secondary verification is forcing people to join the website as a member, that defeats the whole point of watching internet porn. Not to mention it is not the responsibility of the porn sites to monitor the internet usage of your kids. Be a parent and do your job There are a lot of conservative church going Christians who are installing a VPN to hypothetically support this law

It’s always better to meet a woman in real life. Let’s also recognize the fact that plenty of women watch porn too.

Better to meet a partner in real life compared to online dating. A lot of Men these days are afraid to approach a woman. And the poisonous feminist culture has basically neutered some men and made women feel like it’s an insult for them to be approached. But thank God there are still those in America who are for traditional values. Tons of Americans reject the radical far left.

They can always go to any number of red states where Republicans support child marriage.

Republicans are perfectly ok with fucking little children as long as you're married to them.
