I hope that when the right wing Christian fundamentalists realize that they've been totally duped by the present administration about their obsession with war (so long as there is a profit) and return to their core beliefs as taught by Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, they set about to further advance additional Christian beliefs such as charity, society, justice and humility. There are others, but these are the most basic.

I am only offended by the words that accompany the depiction. I am a Democrat, yet I was not offended by the depiction. I am a leftist, a liberal, a progressive and I am considered an intellectual in many circles (I would argue that point) and I still was not offended by the cartoon. I was certainly, as most of us were, offended by the attacks of 9-11-2001. So, what is the author trying to say?

This is a time of war. You always throw up the fact that you served our country as a smokescreen to hide behind. If anybody understands what's at stake here, it should be you. An armchair intellectual shouldn't have to point out the obvious to you, but yet, one obviously has to. So here goes...

You're either on our side or our enemies', there isn't a third option. If there was any doubt of the evil we're battling, and its extent, the recent election of Hamas by the Palestinians and the world wide rioting and pandemonium brought about by the adherents of the "Religion of Peace" should have dispelled any reasonable person's ambivalence. It is obvious to me and others that the Islamofascists want to not only kill Americans, but Europeans and Christians. Further, they hate Western civilization and Western thought (of which, I should point out, that socialism and liberalism are clearly a part of).

If these people win, they'll kill me and they'll kill you. Dispel any mistaken notion that they'll spare you because you're a liberal. All that matters to them is that you're an infidel and worse yet, an American.
