Debt isn't so much of a problem so long as you are spending it on infrastructure and education, and you have a steady economic growth. I don't see that happening in the US, where education budgets are cut and infrastructure is being allowed to crumble. The economic crisis would have been over with back in 2009 without the bailout, the banks still foreclosed the homes of all the Americans it could, and they aren't lending. The Fed still continues to prop up the banks; and argue for more financial deregulation, more printing money and even more bailouts.Its not that difficult to understand - you cant spend more than what you take in...
