No. We are not railing against taxes as it relates to this issue. We are trying to figure out who Obama credits with building the infrastructure, and why he specifically excluded business owners from the ranks of the " someone else's" that "did that".Yup.
Now some right wing LIBERTARIAN radicals call that socialism and object to public roads.
I think they're nuts but at least I admire their consistency.
It was the taxpayer, private business owner that built the bridges and interstates not govt.
Who planned the roads? Who obtained the right of way? Who hired the contractors? Who established the specifications?
The entire infrastructure was planned and instituted by government, usually, although not always with voter approval.
All you wingnuts are simply railing against taxes. Take the taxes away and you have no infrastructure. no law, no schools, police, fire, courts or military.
All you would have are a bunch of braying jackasses wondering why the gobmint didn't do anything.
