Actually they were repeating but in those days, they would inflict more damage than a single shot musket loader. Nevertheless, when the Second Amendment was drafted by the founders, they had their version of the AR-15. Steve McGarrett has done his research. I can't seem to find any historical proof where there were calls to ban these repeating Flintlock rifles and pistols like liberals are doing today with semi-automatic repeating rifles.
