The command of the Ukrainian Army published video footage of the construction of defensive structures. The progress of the construction of fortifications is personally controlled by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. The construction of the defense line is taking place in the Chernigov, Sumy and Kharkov regions. According to experts, the Ukrainian line of defense is vaguely similar to the Russian line of defense of Surovikin. One of the Ukrainian military engineers said that first they lay the so-called “dragon teeth”, then coils of wire, and then mines, if necessary. He also stated that these fortifications should have been built much earlier, in the spring, since their construction takes too much time.

 
Russian troops will include mobile groups to combat enemy drones. Mobile teams to combat UAVs will be armed with ZU-23-2 automatic cannons mounted on truck chassis, as well as pickup trucks equipped with heavy machine guns. The new units will also include electronic warfare equipment and smoke production vehicles. The vehicles will cover objects with a smoke screen that is impenetrable to both optical-electronic systems and UAV thermal imagers. It is worth noting that such mobile groups have been operating within the Ukrainian army for quite a long time; they are used to cover various objects.

 
Footage of combat operations in Ukraine has been published, with the participation of the maximum drone-protected Russian T-72 tank, also called the Tsar Tank. Despite the fact that the tank was previously damaged by Ukrainian artillery, judging by the video, it continues to be used. The Tsar tank T-72 was spotted in Krasnogorovka, where it was hit by cluster shells. And he was almost destroyed by a Ukrainian artillery strike, as shown at the end of the video. For some unknown reason, the tank drove to the factory building in the center of the village and returned back. Later it was reported that the tank delivered a group of military personnel.

 
The Russian Ministry of Defense showed robotic equipment. Promising examples of military robotic equipment were shown in Russia. It is worth noting that this is not homemade military equipment, but factory products. New samples of military equipment were shown at the Patriot convention and exhibition center and were inspected by the Russian Minister of Defense. In total, more than 30 promising models of weapons, military, special equipment and military-technical equipment from 18 Russian industrial enterprises were presented. Reportedly, by the end of next month the first 30 prototypes will be manufactured for delivery to the troops. Models of military equipment are not reported. As part of this year's state defense order, guided ammunition for the Pantsir-S air defense system is being delivered to Russian troops ahead of schedule. Rostec reported this today; the supply is carried out by the Shipunov KBP. Earlier, a Russian ship armed with a naval version of the Pantsir-M air defense system confirmed its combat characteristics. Currently, more than 50 Pantsir air defense systems are used to cover objects on Russian territory from drone attacks; according to experts, this is still not enough. This was achieved through the expansion of production capacity, the transition to a 24-hour work schedule and an increase in personnel by 1,200 people in 2023.
Summing up, the minister noted that the company promptly solves all assigned tasks. To date, the issue with the production and supply of new engines of higher power has been resolved.

Previously, the tank was used by the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Army; the tank ran over a mine and was abandoned in the Avdiivka direction, where it stood in a field for a long time due to problems with evacuation. The Leopard 2A6 tank was produced in Germany since 1997; when the tanks arrived in Ukraine, they were equipped with additional grilles to protect against cumulative ammunition. Ukrainian mechanics have mastered the repair of US M777 howitzers. Repair units of the Ukrainian army have mastered the repair of individual components of American 155-mm towed howitzers M777. Despite the fact that Ukrainian companies do not have permission, in accordance with American export laws, to repair the barrels of American M777 howitzers, they are partially doing so. According to General of the Ukrainian Army Karpenko, after each “artillery contact” almost a third of the guns fail due to shrapnel and have to be repaired. Due to the lack of spare parts, mechanics have to assemble one howitzer from several and use civilian components, converting them into howitzers. For example, a pipe from one of the excavators was converted and installed on a howitzer. According to mechanics, some howitzers have already returned 3-4 times for repairs. The American 155 mm howitzer has been in production since 2005, it is a British designed howitzer, but final assembly is carried out in the USA. The firing range of a conventional projectile is 25 km, the active-reactive M982 Excalibur is about 40 kilometers, but they are already running out.

 
Russian military personnel showed the Akhmat armored car with maximum all-round homemade protection against drones. The creation, of course, resembles the cars from the movie “Mad Max,” but such protection, despite its appearance, really works. Additional screens protect the vehicle from attacks from FPV drones and loitering munitions. Screens can also protect against projectiles thrown from quadcopters. In addition to lattice screens, the armored car was equipped with steel sheets to protect the chassis. Z-STS Akhmat armored vehicles are produced at the Remdizel plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. Russian armored vehicles "Akhmat" are made on a three-axle all-wheel drive chassis "KAMAZ-5350", they are inferior in tactical and technical parameters to armored vehicles "Typhoon", but at the same time they are much cheaper.
