imo? Clampingthe lid down on this kind of issue will NOT help because trolls on the other side of the issue will keep pushing and they have staff who want to control the output... and fail miserably.

Many (maybe most) of us land here because the Moderation here is far better than anywhere else I've been. Yes, I've been slapped down, banned, had threads closed/moved, posts deleted and been thread banned. Damn I sound like I'm a Manson. Point is though that it's better here than elsewhere.
