Putin has been working behind the scenes to bring America down for years. They helped Saddam remove evidence of his WMDs, and are backing Syria in their civil war, are propping up Iran, even giving them sophisticated surface to air missiles to shoot down any incoming threat from the U.S. or Israel.

We've been playing political games in this country and Russia has been playing for keeps.

What fools these Democrats are.

When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits the White House tomorrow, President Barack Obama will tell him that his country could face a bleak future -- one of international isolation and demographic disaster -- if he refuses to endorse a U.S.-drafted framework agreement for peace with the Palestinians. Obama will warn Netanyahu that time is running out for Israel as a Jewish-majority democracy. And the president will make the case that Netanyahu, alone among Israelis, has the strength and political credibility to lead his people away from the precipice.

In an hourlong interview Thursday in the Oval Office, Obama, borrowing from the Jewish sage Rabbi Hillel, told me that his message to Netanyahu will be this: “If not now, when? And if not you, Mr. Prime Minister, then who?” He then took a sharper tone, saying that if Netanyahu “does not believe that a peace deal with the Palestinians is the right thing to do for Israel, then he needs to articulate an alternative approach." He added, "It’s hard to come up with one that’s plausible.”

It was a gradual thing, Mud. I think both parties have made very bad compromises / presidents as well.. both sides of the aisle are to blame. The bottom line is Obama cannot go through with deep cuts to our military now. He'll have forget about that and find the money elsewhere. With China making provocative moves to take Taiwan we cannot possibly follow through now with cuts to the military. Not a dime.

The realization that Russia and China are not the weak/ poor 3rd world nations we thought they were has woke up both Republican and Democrat voters. It is very clear the Bear has come out of hibernation. Now is not the time to cut our military defense budget. It would be suicide.

He's already cut the military across the board.

He just wants to hollow it out. We used to have 15 carrier groups and now we only have 9. He has replaced hundreds of high ranking officers with political puppets. He wants to totally get rid of our nukes. He stopped most of the research for advanced weapons systems.

Our space program has been turned into a Muslim outreach program.

It's disgraceful, and he still has 3 more years to do damage.

Before he showed his hand not to mention China showing hers with this - "We're in Agreement News"...one hand washes the other and you can be sure when China invades Taiwan Putin will release his own statement of "we're in agreement"..... by all means the normal response of a President ( acting to protect America ) under such circumstances would be to go back to Congress and say America is vulnerable and cutting military spending would be suicide. Can't do it. Then he can remind them of what he said the other day..........he can do anything he wants. He's the president.

Did Russia know in advance that China had their back? As a leader that makes sure his footing is secure, President Putin likely spoke with China before he took action. If the US wants to wage economic war on Russia, China is perfectly capable of waging economic war on us. Since we are so heavily in debt, that will surely hurt.

I don't agree. This is not an end all scenario. People are changing the world over. The United States will simply share responsibility for building a more peaceful world, instead of acting as a policeman for a vision jaded only by what a select few Americans think is right.

We're backing al quaeda in Syria's civil war. That makes our bad guys worse than the bad guys Russia is backing. obama wants to end sanctions against Iran helping them buy the weaponry they need and, oddly enough, wants to punish Israel for opposing Iran. So Russia is a bad guy, but we're worse!
