Well, I was talking murderous dictators in existence today, since WW2, but it is true Mao killed a lot in the 1950's - 1960's, and Stalin killed a lot in the 1930's. - 1940's.

Truth is Gaddafi , or Assad haven't killed nearly as much as many American leaders like Lyndon B. Johnson, or Harry Truman, or W. Bush etc.
