John Sununu, Mitt Romney Campaign Co-Chair has recently said, outright that the reason that Colin Powell's supported Barack Obama is because they're both black.

Here's three (3) reasons why this is not only personally offensive, but utterly reprehensible and why there's no equivalency on the left for this sort of low-down nastiness...there just isn't so save it.

1. It's outright racist, coming from the party that always CLAIMS to "not see race"
2. He's a top Romney campaign member, and forefront GOPer in the public sphere
3. There's no outcry from the right...they are silent (yes, I'm talking to you USMB RWer)

You people just give reason, after reason, after reason to hold and keep you/your party in contempt...on a daily basis. And you want to get offended when called out on it.

No one said that, he just stating the reason why colin powell voted for Obama, which is pretty obvious to everyone. It is in fact just as racist to vote for someone because they match your color, as it is to vote against someone because they do not match your color. Would you agree with that statement. Why else would someone who has spent a majority of their long life as a self proclaimed moderate republican, all of a sudden vote for a candidate who admittedly is not a center seeking democrat?

Do you remember in 2007/2008 when Oprah dropped her endorsement for Hilary and switched to Obama when he started becoming more known, was that based on race, or political stances? A very small percentage of the Republican party dont vote for Obama because he is black, this is a very small number...especially compared to a large number of African-Americans (not all, do you see how I do not make generalizations) that are voting for Obama because of his race. But the liberals seem to keep claiming that the only reason the Republicans do not like Obama is because of his color... thats weird, a majority of Republicans were pretty excited about Herman Cain in the primaries before his skeletons came out of the closet. Cain was on track to be a major contender, maybe even win the primaries, like Obama did in 2008. What color was Herman Cain again, and how does that make the Republican party racist?

He made 4-stars in the Army because he sucked up to people and he is black. Making BG, MG, LTG and GEN is all political and then making it to CJCS is even more political pretty much handpicked by the POTUS.
