Do you remember the movie “Field of Dreams” with Kevin Costner? Burt Lancaster played a doctor from northern Minnesota, named Archie “Moonlight” Graham, who had a very brief Major League Baseball career. Graham played two innings in right field. He never got up to bat, 100 years ago today, 29 June 1905. As in the film, Moonlight in real life went on to become a beloved doctor severing the town of Chisholm, MN.
