There is no other way to describe these people, they are terrified of their own shadow and having a gun makes them feel powerful. The same as a 17 year old kid in the hood, any hood. You might want to actually read the Constitution and see how many times the founders used the term "people", meaning the individual citizen, interchangeably with the terms "State/s" or "United States".
