The idea that we cant secure our borders is a total fallacy.
Correct!
But the operative word is NOT "cant"; it's "WON'T".
Not only that, but once they do sneak in, they know that laws will not be enforced and they will get away with a lot.
How many Americans sneak into Mexico? I bet that number is really low. It's because we all know that Mexico is really tough on illegal immigration and not only won't we get any handouts, we're going to end up in big trouble. So, that is enough of a deterrent.
We need a deterrent, such as no perks for breaking the law. If caught, you get deported. No free housing. No welfare. Nothing. Dead end.
There will always be a way to breach security even if we actually attempted to have a strong border. Taking away the reasons for sneaking in will end the problem.
Obama played everyone for fools when he claimed that the border is secure, all the while increasing the incentive for people to enter illegally.
