Disaffected youth + violent video games + easy access to assault weapons = massacre

It used to be disaffected youth, comic books, and easy access to knives and baseball bats.

Starting a thread on your simplistic equation doesn't really make it more accurate.

What is disaffecting the youth? Elaborate.

What about video game violence do you think is a factor? Elaborate.

What about access to assault weapons is the problem? Elaborate.

For some reason im guessing you wont.

Yet another thread insisting the way to protect children isn't to actually protect them, but to further limit the rights of all citizens.

Makes perfect nonsense.

Well, of course. It's Chris.

Bullshit.

I was a "disaffected youth." We didn't have violent video games, but I threw firecrackers at my toy soldiers (INCOMING!) and killed ants with a pocketknife or hammer for fun and I could buy any weapon I wanted so long as I had the money, even through the Sears catalogue!

Guess what? I haven't mass murdered anybody.

Gee....how did THAT happen?
