Just watched a fantastic but disturbing documentary on HBO called 'The Battle for Marjah.' After watching this Documentary you realize that The Longest War is now over. I was especially appalled at how awful the Afghan Security Forces were. There is no hope in training them sufficiently. Also,it is clear that the Taliban are supported in large parts of Afghanistan. We will never remove them completely. It's time for our kids to come home. There is nothing more to be gained in Afghanistan. I wish the Afghan People the best of luck but it's time for us to say goodbye. They have an opportunity to make their Nation a happy & prosperous Nation. And we should take pride in knowing we helped them achieve this opportunity. There really have been some wonderful successes over there. But it's all in their hands now. So The Longest War is over and now it's time to welcome our brave kids back home.
